[Bug]: error: failed to find dobby/bootstrap on Desktop Buddies

All of the following criteria must be met

  • All Requirements must be installed.
  • Changed the title so that it doesn't just says "[Bug]: "
  • I have searched the GitHub issues for my bug, even in the closed issues.

All of the following are optional to answer

  • Tried reinstalling the Game.
  • Tried reinstalling MelonLoader.
  • Tried restarting PC.
  • Was able to see the Start Screen.

Describe the issue.

I cant seem to mod Desktop Buddies whatsoever. Newest version gives the error for missing dobby and any older version gives an error for missing bootstrap. Vanilla works perfectly fine otherwise. I do not have a log.

Did you attach your log file?

No, I could not find a log file at {Game_Directory}\MelonLoader\Latest.log

I have the same problem with the pop-up. Im trying to mod LE and cannot, because game either crashes or i get the same message error as you

This should be fixed in the latest nightly builds. Needs retesting
