got dmpupdater.exe error:
[18:20] try to update when ksp.exe is in launched state

so got the error - cant replace dlls, etc

Close your KSP first, then run the Updater.

I haven't ran into this on linux as it lets you replace files while the program is running, I know what to catch though - I'll make the error easier to understand ;)

Closing - I haven't heard noise about it and the error may not be pretty, but it should be obvious enough. CKAN will replace DMPUpdater soon anyway - although DMPUpdater will still work :)
