Ever since update 1.5.2, there has been freezing on my server for all players when they try to load crafts from their save folders in the VAB or SPH. You are unable to do anything at this point onward, and forced to Alt+F4. I have noticed this issue on several other servers, and think it may be related to the mono issue you discussed in the 1.5.1 changelog, maybe there's another issue? My servers are running with mono on Ubunter Server 14.04. Please help!

You should try grabbing a copy of the latest source and building it from scratch. Other than that, I guess we will have to wait for @godarklight's say on it.

There was a problem with kerbal reassignment which was fixed, and then I realised it was locking up due to a logic error (It kept creating a kerbal for a vessel every 30 seconds, finding a random name was getting tricky for KSP), so I fixed that with 559f7de

That's great to hear, if you install the dev server, then run DMPUpdater, does this update dev server with the latest dev server release, or the latest release build? it's still tagged as 1.5.2 when I use dev

It uses release unless you rename the updater to DMPUpdater-development. You can check which version you are on by git-version.txt, although I think it's printed in the first line too..
