I have the same problem as stated above, here's the log from 2 sequential tries with no luck, I had the same problem yesterday but after a bunch of fiddling the files I fixed it by accident and we both managed to play, now today after a computer restart, my friend can't join but I can.

Please see this StackOverflow post. Since DarkMultiPlayer works for the majority of users (including me), my best guess is that either the client or the server has a firewall that is blocking the service TCP port that it's assigned to.
@joker169 I've seen that error, I think we might have handled it in one of the Dodge* methods when vessels/kerbals load, but feel free to create another report if it still exists.
The other ones are almost certainly firewall issues :)
Can you upload KSP.log from the client side - I suspect there's some weird unhandled error and the client intentionally disconnected, unless it was stopped by a firewall
