The flanges FreeIVA draws around hatches to prevent weird visual effects when two different sized hatches are connected together can become invisible in the FreeIVA 0.2.20.0 Pre-Release.

Repro:

• Install the FreeIVA 0.2.20.0 Pre-Release
• Construct the craft below with a MK1 cockpit & a Hitchhiker container
• Place a kerbal in the MK1 cockpit
• Go EVA, either through the prompt in freeiva, or by clicking the hatch, or by right clicking the part, the method is irrelevant.
• Board the MK1 cockpit
• Open the hatch to the Hitchhiker container and walk in, turn around and look at the hatch and observe the result.

Boarding any seat in either module fixes the issue.

Surprisingly, if you offset the parts so a tunnel is formed, and perform these steps, the collider for the tunnel is functional even while the tunnel is not visible.
