"Kraken" Behavior When Removing Parts from Container on EVA

When removing parts stored in the container, Kerbals begin to behave in a "schizophrenic" manner.

I've compiled my version of KAS from source, using the commit below:
675c3ce

I also utilize the following for Mods:

  • RemoteTech2
  • Module Manager
  • KWRocketry
  • MechJeb
  • DistantObjects

Noticed that the version of KSP I have running is 0.24.0; I run the x64 version. Utilized the launcher to update, but apparently there is also a problem with the launcher as well ( see Launcher/Patch is not x64 Aware ). Now manually updating to 0.24.2, and "installing" the latest commit of KAS.

A manual update to 0.24.2.559 and using the latest commit of this writing ( 1da5de3 ) has fixed the issue.
