Fallback/sunset license?

A couple of commonly-used utility plugins (JSIPartUtilities, RasterPropMonitor) have an author who has been too busy to update them to the new versions of KSP. Other members of the community have created patches to tide them along until the author gets back. Unfortunately, your choice of "all rights reserved" as a license means that this will not be an option for KAS -- if you were to suddenly leave the community without handing off the baton to someone else, KAS would "die" without you as KSP changes. Stupid_chris includes a "sunset clause" in his license, reverting the license to a more permissive one if he goes out of contact for a long time. You might want to consider doing something similar (though I would suggest picking a license other than the Creative Commons for the fallback -- it's fine for art assets and such, not so much for software -- dedicated software licenses such as MIT, BSD, GPL, LGPL, etc. are much more suitable).
