Feature Request: Trap Doors

Hello! I have what ought to be a very simple feature request: please add trap doors to the parts where they make sense.
I'm playing with K&K, USI MKS, and Connected Living Spaces (among many others, obv), and the interaction between K&K base segments and the MKS Caribou Flatbed part is beautiful. The only rub is, there's no way to transfer kerbals between the rover and the base segment attached to it, despite the fact that the flatbed part has a crew access tunnel running through it. The reason for this is twofold: 1) FlexOTubes don't grant access if both ends of the tube are already parts of the same craft (which certainly isn't a K&K issue) and 2) K&K segments mark their "Front" nodes as impassible.
It's easy enough for me to go in and modify the config file to make Front nodes passible, but that doesn't really help anyone else (nor does it make as much visual sense in FreeIVA, although I hesitate to request as much work as changing the models).
