CC-BY-NC-SA and CC-BY-SA are incompatible

As mentioned in https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/licensing-considerations/compatible-licenses the CC-BY-NC-SA and CC-BY-SA licenses are incompatible. As of my understanding you cannot use CC-BY-NC-SA licensed material and release it under CC-BY-SA.
I have to excuse for my last comment. Looking at the Main site of this mod it shows to have the CC-BY-SA license. Which i cannot understand. I would have never chosen the CC-BY-SA.
What makes this worse is that it actually links to the license file for the source code, which in fact is the Apache 2.0 license (since CC licenses are not meant for code)
Will have to try to either change that to CC-BY-NC or better remove the information altogether

I really wonder why this file was selected for the license at the first place, since it did not resemle the common license name.
Can you please elaborate that some more?
- What CC-BY-NC-SA licensed material do i use? Are you refering to the DeepFreeze parts, the Community Category Pack and the Community Category Kit? The main readme states that these are from different authors and are redistributed under their own licence. Additionally the Repository as well as the zipped download contains all the licenses for these mods.
- To my knowledge there is nothing in this repository that is redistributed under the CC-BY-SA license. If you have found something that is licensed under CC-BY-SA let me know. All licenses here should have the Non Commercial (NC) clause.
- If you meant that the actually used license CC-BY-NC is incompatible with the license of the redistributed mods please take a look at the chart at CC License Compatibility which clearly states that CC-BY-NC and CC-BY-NC-SA are compatible with one another.
