Resource Scanning and Community Resources

While looking at mineable resources, I noticed some inconsistencies.
The following mineable resources are not in community resource pack:
Borate, Fluorite, Nitratine, Salt.
The resources that are present, on first look, seem to have different distribution definitions than CRP versions. I do not know how the engine handles this, but won't that cause conflicts and nondeterministic behaviour?
SCANSat can scan for some of Interstellar mineables, but these surface resources do not show in scans: Nitratine, Fluorite, Salt, Spodumene, Regolith. I am interested in adding those. Which part from this mod is meant to scan for these surface resources? The Gamma ray spectrometer is a good candidate. Or the stock Narrow-band one, which is basically gamma spectrometer in disguise.
Do you think surface deposits of any of the ores could create irregularities in magnetic or gravitational fields to be detectable by gravitational or magneto-metric scanners?
