I've struggle for far to much time trying to figure this out. And I may be just doing something terrible wrong, but so far I believe there is some sort of bug messing with me.

Bellow is a simple test rig I've put together (reactor -> thermal gen -> batteries -> gyrotron -> dish). I cannot get the dish to allow me to enable transmitter. From dish description I think this should work, but I could not find any examples using these items, nor wiki page... so, once more I might be just me...

Any ideas?

Turns out that as @sswelm answered to me here, you need to be in space in order to activate the transmit option on dishes.

I'll close this issue and if I manage to find where the description for the parts are I'll raise a PR to propose clarifications there. ;)
