It would be nice if there was a way to "limit" how much overheat was allowed by the overheat controller. As it is, it seems to prevent 100% overheat, which is fine for the vanilla game. However, some mods have lower thresholds (such as Deadly Reentry, where any overheat over 80% will cause damage to the engine), and ship damage will still occur.
