Mechjeb not circularizing at all when using ascent guidance and maneuver planner

During the ascent stage, Mechjeb creates a node and upon arrival, says its circularizing but doesn't increase the throttle. Please help as when using the maneuver planner the same thing happens!

Thanks, mbkgit

Can you post a craft that shows this behavior?

If your rocket is probe-powered, are you running out of electricity?

Tavert I'm having the same problem, I have plenty of electricity. The ship is a piece for my space station around Kerbin at 200 km. But it won't let me post my ship.

Well I think I figured it out, it's because the rocket is a probe, but it dose work if the rocket is a ship.

Try pastebin? Craft files are just plaintext.

My vessel is encountering this same bug. It is something new introduced in this version, since I flew the exact same craft yesterday with the previous version of MechJeb. The ship has RCS tanks and thrusters, turned on, and succeeds in lining itself up for the burn, but simply fails to actually engage the throttle once it reaches the node. For some reason, MechJeb refuses to use the RCS, of which there are 1500 units.

@whensgen, are you in career mode? The newest version intentionally shuts off the autopilot once the craft has left the atmosphere unless the Tracking Station has been upgraded.

I am in science mode, not career. The autopilot is still on, with a message
that says "circularizing", but it simply doesn't fire the engine once it
reaches the created node

Probably related to/duplicate of #591.

I think what you're seeing is that it can't circularize because it can't adjust its attitude for the burn. If it has a manned command module (AKA "a ship") then it'll have enough rotational force to do it without any help from you. If it's an unmanned probe, then those probe modules don't have much rotational force so you'll need to turn on RCS. Try turning on RCS and MechJeb should adjust the attitude for the circularization burn, timewarp to the maneuver, and then execute the burn.
