problem of rendezvous autopilot turning the space shuttle early/engine shutting off early

so i went into orbit, selected the core of my space station and stared the autopilot. Everything started normal but when the engines turn on for acceleration the bar right of the nav ball goes to 0.2-0.1 m/s and the space shuttle just started turning and every thing went out of control.
