A useful addition to the Ascent Guidance module would be the ability to automatically launch into the orbital plane on which the body you are launching from orbits its parent body. So, for instance, on Minmus, this feature would launch you into a 6 degree inclined orbit which is coplanar with Minmus's orbit around Kerbin.

This would be useful because, when returning from a moon, the most efficient way to do it is to launch, not into an equatorial orbit, but into an orbit coplanar with the moon itself; that way your escape burn doesn't need to include a normal component.

Could be a feature of #1061, not one that would have occurred to me, so I'll keep this open.
