When loading sigma dimensions and KSP 1.1.3 and stock (rescaled for 6.4k) - everything loads normally.

When loading with all the planet packs of my install KSP hangs - with logs spews from sig dimensions and has template eeloo.

Some planet packs are not affected - OPM, trans-keptunian, PluronKhato. I haven't spent the exact time to determine which ones are affected, and which ones are not.

However I was able to replicate the hang by adding KDS (Kumar's Dwarf Planets) to the install.

I have attached a zip with the working "stock install" - Rescale config, Squad, MM, and Kopernicus, OPM+TK+PK, and with a hang situtation.

Sorry I inadvertantly left KDS out of the mix, that obviously confused things.

I've attached another bundle of logs. When I fixed KDS as you describe above, the game loads, but logs a bunch of errors for Sigma Dimensions.

I've attached logs with stock + SD, stock+SD+FixedKDS, and my full install with SD, full w/ SD + fixed KDS, and the full install w/o sigma dimensions.

Edit: What I think this tells us is that there an error in one of the config files for KDS causes sigma dimensions to choke, when that error is fixed sigma dimensions encounters errors, but not anything fatal. So the other planet packs I have must have similar errors.

I will try to narrow it down later today and figure out which packs I am using that appear to be impacted so we can notify those author's as well.

I'm going to bet there are other typos on KDS, protojeb has an history of messing up brackets -.-

EDIT: yes I've found multiple errors in those cfgs, please just ignore that mod. I don't have the energy of going through all those cfgs to fix all the errors. Plus, this isn't really an SD issue, so unless you are having problems without KDS you can close this issue.

from a first look all I can say is that since your "big verse" did not contain KDS there might be 2 different issues.
does KDS hang on eeloo as well?

I've looked at the logs for your verse and there is nothing that could explain the issue.
I will need some more time to find out what is going wrong

it seems like the modulemanager cache you included in "my big verse" was not generated during that ksp start (I suppose when mm stalls it doesn't write the cache)

could you start the game with the exact same setup of "my big verse" except that this time you don't include SD?

then send me the mm cache relative to that start. I need to see how the system would look like without SD

I have looked at KDS and it seems there is an error in those cfgs, look for the file

GameData\KDS\99KorionisSystem\99d-1\99d-1.cfg

open it and look for this code

remove the two brackets before ScienceValues; that might be the cause of the error

I found by taking dropping antares into the collective working list above - it would hang with the aforementioned eeloo spam.

I'll go do my best to ping the broken mod authors on the forum that they don't work with your stuff :)
