Due #256, whatever MH is doing on Main Menu is now passing through unchecked.

Find a way to monitor what it is doing and, if possible (and needed) redo the DryCostWriter and the SanityChecks on them.

I think I had already found a way around this on 2.5. Check and close if positive.
