[Bug]Symmetry glitched out. Won't apply mirrored symmetry to some parts.

What you are trying to accomplish, or how you think things should had behaved.
Attempting mirrored symmetry of a part.
Actual outcome:
Mirrored symmetry won't apply to certain parts. As soon as you switch to mirrored, then try to attach a part, it switches back to radial. (I know how to use symmetry). After some playing with it, I was able to get it to try to apply mirrored, but instead of being mirrored, landing gear ....Best way without a screenshot.... Landing gear would be in this orientation to the part it was attached to - / / , instead of / \ .
A description of what happened, including screenshots if desired.
Mirrored symmetry won't apply to certain parts.
How to reproduce the issue:
Enter VAB/SPH, place a command pod. Attach a MK0 liquid fuel fuselage. Attempt to attach LY01 fixed landing gear in mirrored symmetry .
Extra:
CKAN doesn't seem to know that KSP Recall is a dependency.
Reason tweakscale redist was installed was as a dependency of infernal robotics.
I'm sure you will see in the log, but I am running KSP 1.12.5.3190 with CKAN 1.31.2, but I have allowed mods with compatibility for KSP 1.12 to be installable.
I also see your thread, slightly confused about "It works from KSP 1.3.0 to KSP 1.12.3! Seriously!" but then also says "Users of KSP 1.12.x need to install [KSP Recall]"
Appreciate all your work,
SsapS
@SsapS , I'm checking your KSP.log
and realised that TweakScale is not installed on your rig.
I don't understand why you opened a bug report for TweakScale, since it's not installed!
Hi, @SsapS .
About your Extras:
"CKAN doesn't seem to know that KSP Recall is a dependency."
Ckan problems should be addressed to CKAN. I do not maintain CKAN. Please report the issue here: https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN

TweakScale works from KSP 1.3.0 to 1.12.5 (need to update that text). KSP-Recall is needed on some KSP versions due KSP internal bugs, out of scope for TweakScale. If by a miracle KSP 1.12.6 is released with all the bugs fixed, then KSP-Recall will not be needed on it.
About the issue at hands, I will check it by later, probably by this night!
Cheers!
In a way or another, I gave it a try. And everything works as expected, including on scaled up fuel tank and gears:
So I think this settles the matter: whatever is happening in your rig, is not related to TweakScale.
Neither KSP-Recall, by the way. I redid the tests without TweakScale but with KSP-Recall, and got the same results.
@SsapS , in time: you can reach CKAN guys using one of the following links:
