Will it work on version 1.20.6?

and if I'm on a pur pur core? I just don't know if purpur is a child of paper?

PaperMC's particle generator broke in 1.20.6 meaning that you'll be greeted with a lot of console spam. As in.. a lot of console spam. Apart from that, I haven't observed any serious problems.

Same goes for 1.21
