Users can set up a plot and leave it in planner mode and just live in it. They can place beds, chests, etc and all are usable. I suggest that RIGHT CLICKING/USING items should be disabled when you are in the planning area. One of the first questions when I showed this to some users was, "Why can't use just live in the plan?"

This seems that it can lead to some MAJOR issues.

Thanks for the feedback - yes, this has been implemented in the 0.5.1 dev build :)

I've got some other ideas for making it so you can't/don't want to just live in a plan, but will be dedicating some proper time to it once i'm sure the foundation of the plugin is stable
