Chunky having issues Generating Aether?

So, I started Pregenerating my worlds for a new server my friends and I are settings up.
Overworld, End, Nether, Undergarden, and Twilight Forest al generate fine at reasonable speeds of 40-60 cps.
However, when I run a generation for the Aether, it starts fine, but then has horrid hangups, sometimes lasting minutes, where it generates few few chunks for the amount of time that passes, and the rate of generation eventually just slows to an absolute crawl.
the only Aether specific mods I have are "Deep Aether" and "Aether Addon: Enhanced Extinguishing"... haven't had a chance to try disabling either of them to test... been beusy traveling for work for the last week, am home for a day, and about to leave for the next 2 weeks.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Running Neoforged 21.1.201 on MC 1.21.1

Please report issues with world gen mods to the authors of those mods. Aether has been known and reported by many to have issues with generation. Nothing can be done about it from our end.
