Would it be possible to have an option to define which worlds mechanics can function in? For example, I only want the Chair mechanic to function in certain worlds.

Due to the way CraftBook is made this would be an incredibly major task. It's been requested in the past, but I've generally recommended to do it with permissions for the mechanics that can be done that way. Basically assigning the chair permission only in the worlds you want.
