CRAFTBOOK-2284 - Reported by troy.rash

When having sitting enabled it doesn't actually sit, but instead stands up inside the stairs you are trying to sit on. It would be better to be actually sitting like the plugin chairs reloaded (which is for 1.4.5 and am currently useing).

Errors:
None

Using:
Craftbukkit: #2488 for 1.4.5
Spoutcraft: #1869 for 1.4.5 (this should have nothing to due with it for i have tested this issue with a vanilla client)
Craftbook: V 3.3.9r2 for 1.4.5

I need to correct myself - you are supposed to see yourself sitting client side, I was thinking of the older chairs.

I think I just fixed 99.9% of the bugs with chairs. I don't know of any I haven't fixed.

Thank you very much for figuring out what was wrong. Now once craftbook updates i will be able to get rid of chairs reloaded.

I just confirmed the seats work amazingly :)

I may also add some features like health regen or something on chairs.

That would be cool, there were some seating plugins a long time ago that use to give a setting for health regen while sitting.

You are actually sitting, just not client side. Others see you sitting. It's not possible to make it look like your sitting yourself

actually through testing no one else can see you sitting either, have tested this thoroughly. I also do know you can make it look like you are sitting client side. Check the plugin chairs reloaded. That one you are actually sitting to others and client side. So it is a bug within craftbook.

The code in that plugin is so similar to the code in (older versions of) CraftBook it looks like it was copied. And the CraftBook chairs work fine through testing, you must be doing something wrong.

on my server it ends up tping you inside the stairs and makes it how you are only standing up. So i know it is trying to sit but won't

Considering all other chair plugins are broke including your own that seems to be the best, but i wanted your fixed because fewer plugins the better.

The second message was changed by YouTrack for some reason, must be a bug in the site... I meant to write about getting more info as I am unable to reproduce the issue, it works perfectly fine for me.

don't really no any more info to give you. I don't get no errors or anything. It just plain doesn't work. Maybe it will just work itself out in a future update.

It's not a significant problem of mine, but I seem to be experiencing the same problems troy is; I don't see myself sitting client side (which you have already said isn't supposed to happen anyway), but I don't believe I've been able to see any other players on my server do the sitting animation either. As it stands, I'm content with at least going into the chairs though, so thanks!
