I've been playing with the automatic farm IC's and they are really cool but the irrigator seems rather useless. It would be easier to place 4 holes with water in them in the center of 8x8 patch of field and not have to deal with a truckload of buckets or refilling them. So here's my suggestion, maybe make it something like MC1260 the water detector. When it gets a signal, if there is water above it, the water gets removed. So in theory someone could make an infinite water generator above the IC, with the middle "infinite" block directly above the sign block. It fire, water vanishes and the two water sources on side refill it.
