Pipe filter dos not worke

I set up a pipe but it dosnt filter the items like i want
I put a singe on the stiky piston with [pipe] 296 and the pipe still pipes everytihng

Is that actually a sticky piston? Is it the only sticky piston connected to that chest? How are you powering the sticky piston?
