Are you able tou output "analog" redstone? IE with adjustable strength?

I'd love to output analog redstone. I once made a feature request for a lever that could have its output amount modified, purely for this reason. With what there currentlyy is, I can't output analog

lever cannot, but could you output directly to redstone?

No redstone just goes back to 0 without a power source
