CRAFTBOOK-2661 - Reported by nanakisan

I was thinking about asking if a tool mechanic could be looked into. Namely something that works close to the Omni-Wrench in FTB. Rotating chests isn't really worth looking into however things like pistons and other blocks maybe? Perhaps assign the mechanic to the bone as it resembles a wrench sorta already? There are moments when i'm placing pistons and i'm heavily limted by my position i am in. Would such a mechanic be possible? this could also perhaps be used to flip flop slabs and rotate stairs?

This is possible, but I'd have to manually code in each blocks rotations.

Glad to know its possible. You have no idea how useful a tool like this would be. Also wouldn't it be simpler to have the wrench cycle through the metas of particular blocks for their rotations. right click sets it to id:0 then it just climbs up the ladder of ID's or am i over complicating it?

Most blocks don't work like that for rotation. But some I'll just be able to do that.

Try using the cylcer tool in worldedit. It doesn't work on some blocks like it should, but it works on most.

The issue there is Killjoy is that on most servers. WorldEdit functions is strictly a Admin thing. Sure they could easily open access to that function with permission nodes. But most people won't understand the commands to use them. so a simple right click with a bone would be much easier. Also it makes more sense such functionality be present in CB. Seeing as CB already basically is a few other mods and such built into one neat package.

In that case, they'd might as well implement all the features in the toolbelt plugin.

This would be identical to the cycler tool in WorldEdit
