My server is lagging yet again because of Craftbook. This time, it took a few hours of running before it became unmanagable.

I'm calling v3.8.2 a dud because of this :
Please release a more stable build, I don't know what went wrong in 3.8.2, but please fix it.
(Yes, I still have MC1270 disabled, but now it's another thing (The self triggered ICs).)

The newly generated config has all the same settings that matter, and lower the tps significantly less, even before these problems. I'm not sure what changed, but I'll give you a report. I bet the lag has stopped because of the ST ICs being unloaded or something. http://pastebin.com/G53k80cA

Hopefully the lag won't return.

The lag has returned, though I give up on this. I'm just going to keep ICs disabled and try sometime later.

Are you able to type in /cb report -i ingame, and pastebin the file? It'll be useful to see what is actually running. Also if possible, can you use WarmRoast to get CPU profilings?

ICMaxRange : 150

That is most likely your issue. Large area calculations are very resource intensive. I recommend using 10-15 as a maximum.

I switched back to v3.8.1 and it is doing the same thing.
After a few hours, the lag accumulates, strangly causing the TS server to lose packets, making the sound cut out and everything that runs on our Linux server to also lag.

EDIT: I used the same paste of the CB Report from our last chat, because the only thing that has changed since is that MC1270 is disabled.

If you wish, I can bring up our server's beta server and you may help hands on. Our beta server is a mirror of the main server we use, so it doesn't matter if anything breaks.

After a long process of trial and error, I figured out v3.8 (and presumably earlier versions) run smooth. I can even enable MC1270 and the server doesn't crash or generate lag. This makes sense because its the same version that we have from our backups of when it actually worked. We've been running Craftbook for about 1 year and 3 months now. The problem arose when I updated the plugin to v3.8.2.

That is most likely it. That means that every 2 ticks, CraftBook must search 1000 block radius, which is a metric tonne of blocks, for stuff.
Try turning that down to 15, and see if the lag still occurs.

Turning it down to 15 did not help, but I have decided to just regenerate the config and edit it from there. The config is considerably outdated as far as I can see, where the new one has a new layout and uses material names instead of IDs.
