Items placed on a fan are not pushed upwards by the fan.

If you put water above the item fan, does the item appear? There is a bug in mc where positions aren't applied to items very well, and they sometimes don't appear to move on the client.

I placed water above, and the item still doesn't float up. The item stays on top of the block behind the sign, and seems to jump on occasion, but it doesn't float like it used to.

I'll try and test this when I get a chance, but it's most likely the mc visual bug. I'll try testing with an entity sensor.

After testing, it appears to be working perfectly fine.

Strange, I can't get it to work... Maybe I have something conflicting.

If I set the fan speed to 2, I see the item jumping up and down, so at least its trying to make it float.

I set it to 6 and made a few block high tube, and put a stream of water running elsewhere on top. When I threw the item, it was shot up into the water and it went along the stream
