Healing from protected to unprotected area fails

Hi, I found maybe a bug, but, I tell honest, it revolves around three plugins, the one responsible, I have no clue, but here we go!
I use on our server a number of plugins, PreciousStones, Creeperheal and Elitemobs. Now, Preciousstones is active for a few blocks, one of them is cityprotection, and I seen a lot of them made by the owner protecting a lot. Day before yesterday a friend was over and asked me about a hole in the ground, and I told that Creeperheal would fix that, it did not. So I asked what did cause this? and she said Elite creeper exploded. Knowing how she fights, very persistant, hit probably the creeper outside an protected area where it exploded. Now I tried this too, Inside a protective area, creeperheal repairs, outside a protective area, creeperheal repairs, but from inside a protective area to outside? Not...
Now, this is maybe on your half, but I have informed also the creator of Elitemobs and asked him the same....
Thanks....

Hi,

Thanks for the report. From your description, I would say that Elitemobs probably doesn't use a standard way of exploding their creepers, they probably have some sort of custom explosion. Check that you have the "custom" explosions set to be repaired by CreeperHeal, but it could just be an incompatibility between the two (three?) plugins.

Sadly, I don't maintain this plugin anymore, so I can't have a much deeper look at it. However, the code is open source, so if you want to have a look, feel free to do it!

Good luck :)

Thanks for the info, the custom setting was false, so I'm gonna try to copy the thing, besides, I wrote to Elitemob dev(Magmaguy), he made just the normal explosion bigger without new code.
I also gonna ask him if he is interested in reviving your plugin, maybe if you also try to find another able person (sorry, but I am no java guy) then It would not be lost..... That would be a shame.

It is with pain in my heart to tell that the open source spirit is trying to get away from the claws of capitalism, but unfortunately it pulls that spirit closer and closer. In other words, Magmaguy wants to do it, but only for money, and he admits that he has little time and that its gonna cost me.... I am not a guy with big pockets, I live of a disability income and I am sure that is not gonna change. So, if anyone is willing to take your nice plugin and give it a future, that would be great.... So many plugins tend to become popular and at some point reality kicks in... There should be a pool for those kind of plugins, anyone who want to pick it up, can do it, the current way is obfuscated through a lot of things and makes no visible signal to the world that says:"Help me, I am an abandoned plugin!" (that would be nice) So, I really understand you leaving this on its own, and hope that there will be a young programmer to pick it up.
Thanks for your time.

Did changing the setting work for you?

I tried a couple of times finding a developer to take up maintenance of the plugin, but it's not exciting work, and no one wants to step up...

The plugin does a lot more than I need it to so personally I made a much simpler explosion regeneration plugin, does not have nearly as many features as CH though
