Yeah it would be awesome if one could disable chests from dropping in specfic regions (like in PVP arena's).

Yes I would also like to disable Death Chests in my arenas.

well if it isn't worldguard or mobarena or anything else I privately need I don't know when it will be implemented as long as there is no common standard for it.

atm I think there are more than 25 region based plugins out there

What about implementing your own mini region system that prevents chests from being placed in specific regions.

Or possibly making it compatible with Towny's Spleef-Arena plots somehow.

I don't want to have another region system, if I see the need I will implement something besides WorldGuard and MobArena.
