Why?

Hey, I've seen that death messages are embedded on Discord, and they look good but they also flood the chat really quickly if someone dies multiple times and for that, I have 2 suggestions. Of course, there should be an option in the config or something to enable these

What and How?

You can either make it so that if it's the same death message, it doesn't send it but just edits the previous message and says x2, etc.

Are there alternatives?

There can be some kind of a cooldown, where only a certain amount of deaths within 5 minutes will be sent to the same player

Found this when googling "DiscordSRV Death Spam".

I too would love to have either multiple concurrent deaths collapsed into a single message, or a per-player rate limiter on death messages, or even a rate limiter on death messages entirely.

I don't want to disable them completely, as sometimes when chat is particularly dead, it can be fun to notice the occasional death and comment on it and spark up a conversation...
But a lot of death messages coming through is not especially valuable when they are taking up so much vertical space.
