Why?

In theory it could be slightly easier if people have an extra port to click on a link than join a server and message a bot

What and How?

Pretty much Reserve the extra port on start up if enabled set the correct permission scope either manually or hard code it. And maybe an option to auto join the discord if the person is not already in it. You can do this with state for oauth.
