Could you give us the possibility to link your Minecraft account not trough the bots DM's but in a server. For example to link your account at the moment you have to send a code in the bots DM's for example 6584 and you could add an option so you can go in a channel and type !link 6584 .

Changed this to be via slash commands instead of a specific channel - as that's more in line with what we want to do

Why?

So people don't have to find where the bot is located in the members list and then DM him the code where otherwise they could just go in a channel and type the code in it.

I’ve never seen such a complaint, people usually just find the bot being the user chatting all the time in the linked channels. That or maybe having a mention to the bot in an announcements channel.

Nonetheless, this could be implemented.

2 years later... any updates on this??? we really need this on one of our Discord servers for a type of verification system we're working on. it completely defeats our security with the bot accepting all DMs.

We are working on a full rewrite of the plugin. And we aren't really focusing on adding new features to v1

so this won't be added any time soon.... lovely.

I might get around to this soon. A random thought but it might be neat to instead have a message filled with reactions for numbers 0-9 and allow people to enter their code that way
