Option to strip common minecraft formatting codes from discord name.

I use this formatting in DiscordSRV to format discord player chat back in-game.
DiscordToMinecraftChatMessageFormat: "&8<&7Discord&8> &7%username%&f: %message%"
DiscordToMinecraftChatMessageFormatNoRole: "&8<&7Discord&8> &7%username%&f: %message%"
DiscordToMinecraftAllRolesSeparator: " | "
However if someone on discord names themselves something like &f<3 &6Example, then their in-game %username% is a white heart and gold "Example".
I would like to enforce colors of everyone to dark grey or use DiscordChatChannelColorTranslations to have their username their role group on discord's color.
@Scarsz Would it be possible to implement a setting to strip common minecraft formatting codes from their discord display username?
