The bot has a tendency to clog the chat if these messages are left enabled. While I do like them, I'd prefer if there was an option for them to be removed after a configurable amount if time. Say have achievement messages be deleted after a minute, player joined/left after 15 minutes, new player an hour.

Additionally, having an option to remove old messages as new ones are posted, so that you'd for example be able to only have 5 bot messages visible at a time, with older ones being removed.

It would help not cluttering up the chat with messages if there are a lot of messages posted in a short timeframe, only keeping a set amount visible at a time.

That doesn't give any insight to what the purpose of that would be.

Discord already has a configurable text channel permission to deny seeing message history. I don't see any point of only having five messages visible in a channel.

I meant for joining/leaving/achievement messages, not player chat messages.

I get what you're saying now. You're suggesting to have a set amount of status messages present in the channel at one time, yes?
