Apparently from what I've seen, if you just poke a spawner with left click, it will give you money. Please fix this.

This sounds like another plugin since ecoCreature only hands out a reward on a block break event. There is no code that uses any block interaction event.

In any case, let me know what version you're using from your server.log. Should look similar to this:
