I want to add this in, but before I do, I would like to know a list of the most used Economy plugins that EpicZones users use.

This has been a request since I first created EZ.
I didn't want to have to hook into any economy plugins because they were as flaky as permissions plugins in my opinion.
That said, I have an idea to make this possible with a simple command and a property on a zone. That way if somebody wants to use sign commands, they can. Or if they just want to use the built in command, they can do that as well.

You could give players the ability to create their own zones? Just a thought, but i guess if you have pre-planned plots in mind that's not really an option.
Personally, i think the ability to fully automate this process would take a large amount of time to develop as it would have to hook into the economy APIs as well, not to mention others.
Without a doubt it is a semi-reasonable feature request, but possibly not time efficient. Whatever happens, in the meantime - just manually debit funds from in-game accounts and then assign the owner respectively.
There are alot of people who use EpicZones in the way you are describing as inefficient, but we'll leave it to jblaske for his thoughts on the matter.
I have changed the ticket to a tentative status until jblaske reviews it.
