Details

Description
None of the targets via commands block seem to be supported by essentials. If you try to /tp, /heal or /msg the player that had previously been targeted with @p[distance=..3] will not be effected.
It worked on 1.12.2 perfectly, now it always fails to find the player.

Now we have to use minecraft:tp, otherwise this is a big disadvantage of essentials.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Put a command block with next command: /tp @p[distance=..3] ~ ~3 ~
  2. Place a pressure plate above it
  3. Jump on it
  4. Command block fails with output: Player not found

Expected behavior
Support @p,@s,@e,@r targets and so on
