My EssentialsX on 1.8 doesn't work

So basically I was making a server and I wanted to add EssentialsX in but when I type /plugins it marks the EssentialsX plugin as red and I can't type any command. It just doesnt work

EssentialsX does not support 1.8. Use 1.8.8 or higher, or find a copy of classic Essentials.
