Problem:

As the only player connected, when I try to sleep in a bed during night or thunderstorm, I'm immediately kicked out of bed and time doesn't change.

Specific configuration using luckperms gives me all permissions (*) but I also manually disabled essentials.sleepingignored as mentioned in other support posts. The problem is unlike all the other support posts I found, my issue is that sleep isn't happening at all, I just get kicked out of the bed and time doesn't change.

What I have tried:

I'm posting here in EssentialsX github because my troubleshooting involved disabling every plugin, one by one, and found that the only time sleep functionality is properly restored is when EssentialX is disabled. All other plugins saw no change when disabled.
