Bug description

on death even if player has "essentials.keepxp" or the player is opped it does not keep xp after death

Steps to reproduce

Get exp
/suicide
Exp gets reset

Expected behaviour

Keep exp on death

Actual behaviour

No keeping exp on death

Im having the same problem. It works with OP players but doesn´t for normal players with permission "essentials.keepxp"

It is, I cannot reproduce this. Either your permission plugin or some other plugin is messing with this behavior.

Hi i had the same issue, and figured it out. Atleast for me its because i had the gamerule keep inventory set to true. If you disable keep inventory and then use the essentials keep inv system it works fine, but if you just use the game rule it makes you lose XP.
