There is a way to use the /back command to glitch. In the video it is all explained but I will also explain the bug / glitch here as well.

While you are in water underneath a floor you try to break the block above you while swimming up, while you are half inside of the block you type /spawn and then /back you get teleported above the floor you were just under, this can be used to glitch into places that you normally could not go.

We are using the following configuration:

teleport-safety: true
force-disable-teleport-safety: true

As far as I can see, this is intended behaviour.

Is it going to get fixed?

There isn't anything to fix. This isn't a bug.
