I am not sure how to connect vault to the gui shop so that it works properly. It also says that there is no economy plugin. does that mean vault? please help me

Do you have essentials or any economy plugin? This is most likely due to the fact you only have vault which isnt an economy plugin just allows for an api between plugins.
