The problem is as following:
My server was running smoothly before I downloaded "HPS" ....
I know I have a lot of plugins, but the server tps has always been around 20.. a few times dropped between 18-20, I see when I run / timings and get the report about the lag on the server that "HPS" is at the top of the things that makes lag...

The plugin is perfect for my needs (compared to spells, how it works and looks) I just find it sad that it creates lag when i use any spell, we are currently only 3 players who have "spells" and "permission" to use hps

Thank you very much for sending this in.

The performance statistics are very interesting. I do know that in our config we have a toggle that can limit how long (in ticks) a spell can travel for. By default this value is -1 which means it can travel forever

# The amount of time that the spell should travel in ticks (about 20 ticks a second) before it disappears, Use -1 for it to go forever
spell-effective-time: -1

If a user casts a spell horizontally and it misses the spell will keep going forever.

Try limit the time and let me know if the performance improves

I may have missed that! Thank you so much for your quick response! I try it right away and see what happens! If you dont hear from me again, then its because it worked :D again thanks alot!

I also discovered that if I use "colloportus" on the top part of any door, then the door destroys and "drops" 2 doors, so people can basicly duplicate doors with that spell.... Any chance that that bug will get fixed soon?

The Colloportus spell is a known bug, that was introduced in recent versions. It is in the top to fix priority list.

Will let you know when it is fixed
