Paper 1.21.7.
In other plugins that are on Paper, this works. You're probably using bukkit..
Since Mojang changed the JSON chat format with 1.21, this is broken for now. I will fix it once I have time for it.

The problem is only with 1.21.7, not 1.21 as a whole.
Your plugin worked perfectly for me on 1.21.4!
It also worked in my plugins on 1.21.7 because I use the Paper API, not some other crap.
I just downloaded this plugin. the permissions for users were all added, and it still will not work. the pemissions allow players to marry without a priest and it is giving me the error of needing a priest and I cant do my own weddings, EVEN though both parties are priests. why have a perm for self marry if it doesnt aloow players to just marry without a prist?
