whats the output of /backpack version; support for paper plugin loading logic has been added years ago.

since paper is diverging more and more from Spigot and I don't have time to maintain two things, paper will remain experimental. so please backup your data regularly.

Why don't you drop support for spigot?
Paper has a market share from >75% & spigot has only 15%. Also it looks like Spigot is slowly dying.

Because spigot is not the one that decided to hard fork and change APIs that have been stable for 15 years.
Paper support mostly works at the moment, except for the dependency detection at startup, where it's not finding PCGF PluginLib (when installed) 90% of times.
But since they now officially hard forked, I am certain they will break more APIs, so that warning will stay.
