Multiverse Portal to World Locations containing Slashes

Hello!
I'm currently running a 1.7.2 r3 craftbukkit server that uses the most recent versions of Multiverse (core, portals, and nether portals). For organizational purposes, I have a folder called 'worlds' that contains all of the worlds running on my server. And this works nicely with Multiverse.

I can tp to the worlds either by their aliases or by the file path. I can also create anchors without problem.

But this doesn't seem to work with Multiverse portals. Does anyone know a workaround to getting a portal to work with a destination that has a slash in the name.
I've tried setting the destination to the world path, the world alias, an anchor at spawn of the world, and (out of desperation) called

/mvpm dest here

at the spot in the world. Multiverse starts up fine, no errors, and everything else works as expected. Just when myself (as op) or anyone steps into the portal, the following is displayed in chat:

This portal goes nowhere!
No specific nether world has been linked to this world and 'world_nether' is not a world.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can provide any other additional information on this matter, per request.

try: /mvp modify dest p:(name of portal)
And then for the other portal type: /mvp select portalname and then do /mvp modify dest p:(name of portal)
