Portals Unable to link when one world is smaller than the other

I have a world which is 8k in radius and another is 5k in radius. In the 8k world there is a portal which links to the 5k radius world, that works, but when the portal in the 5k world is linked to the one in the 8k world, it fails to link and teleports to a location that is within the "radius limit of the 5k world" in the 8k radius world. I want it to link properly, even if the worlds are of different sizes.
