Please explain your issue. How do you trigger it?

Simple insert the plugin in the server and if a player has 16+ tags it glitch's out

Not a bug, this is intended behaviour, it is due to the way NameTag edit determines if you are on a supported version and it has not yet gotten approved support for 1.16.2 1.16.3 or 1.16.4
